Ended up in EK.

Enchanted Kingdom last Sunday.
Saya.
rode the Wheel of Fate.
and
Rio Grande (haha. three times. got really soaked.)

*the easiest way to experience peace when in a scary ride is to close your eyes. trust me.*

Elections last Monday.
I didn't vote. I'm not a registered voter.
Some of my friends are telling me I should've exercised my right.
I don't want to.
It's a right. It's not a law.
It's not mandatory.
Besides, there will be cases like the "semi-unknown mechanism of the candidates" (aka. dayaan) at "unexpected generosity" (aka. vote buying in kind) and my vote will not be counted realistically speaking.

*I did not vote. I have my own reasons.

save an iPod nano, save the world

all right. I know, the title is sooooo Heroes.

Kuya lost his iPod nano last week. The question isn't why, that's too obvious, there are thieves out there. But the question is how? According to Kuya's story, he just bent to pick some coins dropped by the girl next to her in the jeepney. And in that 3 seconds or so, his iPod was gone. But the earphones and the rubber case was left. Given the difficulty of removing the iPod from the rubber case, I wonder how the thief did that? Maybe, he has the power to bend the space and time continuum, just like Masi Oka's Hiro Nakamura character in Heroes. okay...that's the weirdest thing I've said in this blog.

But enough of Heroes, specially now that I figured out why they say "save the cheerleader, save the world". hahaha

Summer in the boardinghouse is cool as well, not literally, of course. We always had ice cream and some impromptu video shoots, now entitled, "April, I know what you did last summer"...

I'm playing this funny game called Crazy Taxi now. Peeves installed that game in my PC last week, and really, it was Crazy Taxi.

Politics in Batangas is getting serious. Vilma Santos is running for governor. The incumbent Armand Sanchez, who happens to be an alumni of my high school, is also running. Then here comes the former police officer Nestor Senares. I dunno who's gonna win. But if Vilma wins, it would inspire more showbiz personalities to enter the political arena, which isn't really healthy for the country. I think it's gonna be between Sanchez and Vilma, Senares will be the last in the list. Sanchez wife is running for mayor in our town. Ralph Recto is of course in the Senatorial race and Ricky Recto wanted to be a Congressman. Hay. Batangas version political dynasty.
