As an update to the previous post, no, I did not go to KL. Couldn't find a bus schedule that would fit my own sched. Two of my Malaysian officemates also discouraged me to go alone. Too dangerous.
Next time, I'll definitely go. If I'm already brave enough to travel on my own.

ReplyDeleteIt's not as safe as Singapore. Taxi drivers charge exorbitant fares to tourists. And even though I could pass as a Malaysian in terms of looks, my English would be a dead giveaway that I'm a tourist. It's just not safe wandering around KL alone.
ReplyDeleteOh, and the bus trip that would fit my own sched that time will arrive in KL at 2.30am.
oh cmon, Nelly. I thought you enjoy backpacking, wandering into the unknown. I think KL (though haven't been there) is manageable - don't worry. Let's plan a weekend of trip when I come to the Philippines.
